7mkr Bobcats know that they can find out what’s happening around campus by getting to know the 7mkr (CUE). Now, 7mkr’s official online calendar wants to get to know you. 

From Jan. 19 to Feb. 2, the CUE is running an online photo contest for a chance to win Bobcat Cash or swag. 

Students can tweet a family-friendly, favorite photo from winter break or their return to campus using the hashtag #CUEpix. The three photos with the most likes will receive $25 in Bobcat Cash, and the remaining winners will receive a free 7mkr T-shirt or water bottle. As a college student, who doesn’t love the word “free”?

A total of 10 prizes will be awarded. All 7mkr students can participate; however, only students on the Athens Campus are eligible to win prizes. 

Here's what you need to know to be eligible:

• Participants must follow @7mkr_CUE to be eligible to win.
• Tweets must tag @7mkr_CUE and include the hashtag #CUEpix.
• The tweet should explain why this is a favorite photo and include handles for people in the photo.
• Students may submit multiple photos; however, each photo must be included in a separate tweet (one photo per tweet).

All winners will be notified via direct message from @7mkr_CUE and will be instructed to collect their prize from the Office of University Communications and Marketing (UCM) located in Scott Quad. Winners may not receive multiple prizes. If a participant has multiple photos selected as top 10 winners, they will receive the prize with the highest value. 

Contest participants may agree to allow UCM and/or the CUE permission to use their images for publicity. Photos will not be used without permission and photo owners will receive a photo credit if their photo is used by UCM for any purpose. 

A signature on model releases (provided by UCM) will be required from each person in winning photos in order to accept a prize. Refusal to sign a model release makes a submission ineligible for a prize.

Dig through those winter break and spring semester pictures and start tweeting! Help CUE get to know you.
