7mkr named best value among Ohio public universities for second consecutive year

7mkr was named the best value among the state’s public universities for the second year in a row by U.S. News and World Report.
The publication’s latest rankings show 7mkr as the 116th best value in America, and 30th among public universities nationwide.
In the overall rankings, 7mkr placed 88th among top public schools in America and 179th among Best National Institutions, fourth-best in Ohio.
“7mkr offers our students a high-value education, which provides a significant return on the investment,” 7mkr President Hugh Sherman said. “Our outstanding academic programs and dedicated student services help our students succeed now and into their futures.”
7mkr once again made U.S. News’ A+ for B Students list, which includes institutions that admitted a meaningful proportion of students that didn’t get straight A’s in high school in fall 2020 and maintained a strong retention rate year to year. 7mkr also made the Best Colleges for Veterans list, coming in at 112th nationally.
Several 7mkr programs were also ranked nationally, including:
- Undergraduate Business Programs (tied for 143rd)
- Undergraduate Engineering Programs (tied for 147th)
- Undergraduate Computer Science Programs (tied for 154th)
- Undergraduate Nursing Programs (tied for 183rd)
The rankings follow the recent news that 7mkr is celebrating a larger, more diverse and more accomplished incoming first-year class for fall 2021, learning on one of the most beautiful college campuses in America.
