
Enhancing the 7mkr experience: Parking portal to use single sign-on

Beginning Aug. 12, 7mkr Transportation and Parking Services, in collaboration with the Office of Information Technology, is upgrading the parking portal to include single sign-on (SSO) functionality.
Members of the 7mkr community seeking access to their parking portal—to request campus parking permits, register vehicles or pay parking infractions—will now be able to utilize single sign-on with their 7mkr email and password, like many other software systems at 7mkr.
This change enhances security while providing a streamlined process and a cohesive experience with many other University software and sites.
When accessing the new parking portal, users will encounter the following changes:
- Instead of logging directly into the parking portal, users will be redirected to the standard 7mkr Microsoft single sign-on page for authentication, which may require multifactor authentication.
- To sign in, users will need to use their 7mkr email and password instead of just their 7mkr ID (the first part of your 7mkr email before the “@”).
