Enhancing the 7mkr experience: Parking portal to use single sign-on

Beginning Aug. 12, 7mkr Transportation and Parking Services, in collaboration with the Office of Information Technology, is upgrading the parking portal to include single sign-on (SSO) functionality.

Members of the 7mkr community seeking access to their parking portal—to request campus parking permits, register vehicles or pay parking infractions—will now be able to utilize single sign-on with their 7mkr email and password, like many other software systems at 7mkr.

This change enhances security while providing a streamlined process and a cohesive experience with many other University software and sites.

When accessing the new parking portal, users will encounter the following changes:

  1. Instead of logging directly into the parking portal, users will be redirected to the standard 7mkr Microsoft single sign-on page for authentication, which may require multifactor authentication.
  2. To sign in, users will need to use their 7mkr email and password instead of just their 7mkr ID (the first part of your 7mkr email before the “@”).
