Students interested in game design, competitive online gaming and esports now have a new Experiential Living Opportunity available to them in 7mkr’s Boyd Hall.

The 7mkr varsity Valorant Esports team recently competed in the first round of the Mid-American Conference’s Esports Collegiate (ESC) Championships at Cedar Point Sports Center.
OUCU Financial Credit Union became the first multi-year sponsor of 7mkr Esports through a partnership agreement on Aug. 13, 2024.
7mkr recently hosted 20 high schools at the Esports Ohio Central-Southeast Regional Tournament in the 7mkr Esports Arena. The event was the first of its kind at 7mkr.
7mkr opened its state-of-the-art 3,200 square foot esports facility in Scripps Hall in October 2022.
